About the Company
Founded in 1925, Copenhagen Airport was one of the first civil airports in the world. The early years were characterized by the pioneering spirit in a day and age when flying was for the privileged few. Copenhagen Airports A/S is a listed company that owns and operates the airports at Kastrup and Roskilde. With 1700 committed employees entrusted with everything from planning the airports’ future and the services they offer to the daily cleaning and maintenance of the airport. Copenhagen Airports makes its infrastructure, buildings and service facilities available to the many companies that have business operations at the airport. The company shares a common goal: to ensure that all passengers have a pleasant stay at the airport.
In an effort to reduce software costs, Copenhagen Airport evaluated a number of Microsoft Project Viewers that are on the market. By carefully examining the overall features and costs against the benefits that each solution under review possessed, Copenhagen Airport selected the Seavus Project Viewer, and easily deployed it. “Deploying Seavus Project Viewer was very simple as the software was in an msi-format.”
Copenhagen Airport has immediately been able to exploit the benefits of using the Seavus Project Viewer once it was installed. “The product’s high quality, Microsoft-centric look and feel closely mirrors the fully enabled Microsoft Project so that any sort of user training has been unnecessary. We were very interested in cutting our software licensing costs and the Seavus Project Viewer did exactly this, without sacrificing the look and feel that our employees are used to.”
