Seavus Secure View is a lightweight application that runs in combination with Microsoft® Project 2003 and 2007 to increase information security.
Microsoft® Project is designed to assist project managers in creating project plans, assigning resources to the project’s tasks, managing budgets, tracking progress and analyzing resource productivity as well as potentials risks and delays in the project tasks.
Generally, users of Microsoft® Project plans can be categorized in the following way:
Users who create/modify project plans, such as project manager and
Users who only need to review and/or analyze project plan information
Seavus Secure View provides the first category of users (project plan creators), with the ability to protect sensitive project information, which is not suitable for team members, sub-contractors or vendors to see.
Seavus Secure View provides the second category of users with the ability to only see the project plan information (through the use of Seavus Project Viewer) that the project manager wishes them to see.
